I want to get Android and Windows to play together, but I find it so hard to achieve it Honestly, I get pissed up when I cannot physically connect my Android to my PC any time I want to access something on it, or simply muck around with adb commands and betas that I shouldn’t bother to install for experiment sake.
If you ask me, I think there should be a tiny little option in Android that could allow one to create a direct, wireless connection to a laptop or desktop, so you could control your phone remotely if you want, like the way you can use a remote desktop app to move the mouse then type commands on a faraway PC, then also transfer files between your PC and phone without necessarily needing any cables to assist the process. Yes, this kind of setup by default is not available yet, I’ll try to suggest help here. For now, the available option to connect Android to your PC I’ll suggest to you is to use Windows’ built-in settings for linking one to the other. Using the most recent version of Windows 10, simply pull up Settings > Your Phone, then click on Add a phone to get started. When you perform such task, you’ll be prompted to install the Your Phone app on your Android phone. After that, open it, sign in with your
Microsoft account (or use the handy QR code on your Windows PC to link the two) then accept all the permissions. After you’ve linked to the two, bravo, you now can access your phone’s notifications, messages, and photos directly from your Windows PC. And you’ll be able to make and receive calls through your phone on your Windows PC remotely. The additional benefit is that you should be able to use your phone and PC’s ‘Nearby Share’ the features that helps to exchange files between the two via Bluetooth. ( Process to setting it up: pull up your Settings app on each device, searching for ‘Near Share,’ and enabling it.
You are done.) When that is done, use Android’s built-in sharing features of Windows’ Send to > Bluetooth device menu in File Explorer to skip data back and forth effortlessly. Email
